Overview

What Are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a small titanium post that takes the place of a missing tooth's root. Placed into the jawbone, it fuses with the bone over a few months to form a stable foundation, then supports a crown, a bridge, or a full arch of fixed teeth on top. Because it is anchored in the bone rather than resting on the gums, an implant holds firm when you eat and speak, and it helps preserve the jaw the way a natural root would. That is what sets implants apart from dentures and traditional bridges. A denture sits on the gums and can shift; a bridge relies on grinding down the healthy teeth on either side. An implant stands on its own, touching nothing else, which is why it looks, feels, and lasts more like the tooth it replaces. Whether you are missing a single tooth or most of them, there is an implant option to match.

Benefits

Why Choose Implants

A replacement that looks, feels, and lasts like your own teeth, without the compromises of dentures or bridges that rely on neighboring teeth.
01

Built to last

With good care, implants are designed to be a permanent solution, not something replaced every few years.
02

Protects your jaw

Implants stimulate the bone like natural roots, slowing the bone loss that follows missing teeth or long-term denture use.
03

Nothing to remove

Fixed implants stay in place. No adhesive, no soaking, no slipping when you eat or speak.
04

Made in-house

Your final teeth are designed and milled in our own digital lab, not shipped to an outside laboratory and back.
Process

How Implant Treatment Works

1

Consultation and 3D Scan

We take a cone-beam scan and review it with you chair-side, checking bone, nerves, and sinuses. This shows which implant option fits your case and whether any groundwork is needed first.
2

Treatment Planning

Your case is planned in three dimensions before anything begins. You leave knowing the options, the steps, and what each one costs.
3

Implant Placement

The implant is placed in the jaw. Depending on your needs, health history, and procedure, sedation options may include Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, or General Anesthesia. Many cases can include a temporary tooth during healing.
4

Healing and Integration

Over the following months the implant fuses with the bone, the step that gives it the strength to last. You wear a temporary throughout rather than going without.
5

Final Restoration

Once healing is confirmed, your final crown, bridge, or arch is designed and milled in our in-house lab and fitted. This is the set built to last.

Why Choose Restore for Dental Implants

Most clinics place the implant, then send you elsewhere for the parts they don't handle. Restore does the whole thing. Diagnosis, surgery, and the final tooth all happen in one place, with one team accountable from your first scan to the moment you bite down on the finished result.

One team from scan to final tooth, with nothing handed off to an outside office.

Your restoration designed and milled in our own lab, not shipped away and waited on.

Grafting and sinus lifts done in-house, so bone loss rarely means a referral elsewhere.

A board-certified implant dentist who plans and performs your treatment personally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about dental implants.

Contact Us
How much do dental implants cost?

A single implant with an abutment and crown typically ranges from $3,000 to $5,500. A straightforward zirconia full arch is $17,999 for either the upper or lower arch. More difficult or complex cases, along with any necessary extractions, grafting, or sinus lifts, are priced after your consultation and treatment planning.

How long do dental implants last?

The implant itself is designed to be permanent. The crown or bridge on top may need maintenance over many years of normal wear. Good hygiene and regular check-ups make the difference.

Am I too old for dental implants?

Age is rarely the deciding factor. What matters is your general health and how much bone you have, both of which we assess at your first visit. Many implant patients are in their sixties, seventies, and beyond.

Do dental implants hurt?

Less than most people expect. Placement is performed with appropriate anesthesia, and depending on your needs, health history, and procedure, sedation options may include Oral Sedation, IV Sedation, or General Anesthesia. Soreness usually peaks during the first few days and then improves as healing progresses.

Can I get implants if I have bone loss?

Usually, yes. Bone loss is common and rarely disqualifying. Grafting and sinus lift procedures rebuild the foundation an implant needs, and both are done here rather than referred out. Your scan shows exactly what is needed.

How many implants do I need?

It depends on how many teeth are missing. One tooth needs one implant; several teeth can be replaced with an implant bridge; a full arch can be restored with as few as four. Your scan and plan settle the number.

What is the difference between an implant and a bridge or denture?

A traditional bridge relies on grinding down neighboring teeth, and a denture rests on the gums. An implant stands on its own in the jaw, touching no other teeth, and helps preserve the bone underneath.

Does insurance or financing cover implants?

We work with many dental insurance plans and will help you make the most of the benefits available to you. Our team can verify benefits, estimate what insurance may contribute, submit claims on your behalf, and explain anticipated out-of-pocket costs. Implant coverage varies by plan, and insurance may contribute toward portions of treatment such as extractions, bone grafting, or other related procedures. Any remaining balance can often be combined with flexible financing options.
